Whether you are just getting started, or you are a well seasoned photographer, you can sign up for a 40 minute consultation.

You can also request an image critique. I will review and give you my honest feedback to help improve the areas that you may need assistance on.

After the purchase has been made, you will receive a downloadable questionnaire to get us started. We will set up the time and date for your sessions and will have you squared away.

About The Program

The SPG Mentoring program has been developed to help those photographers who are seeking to improve their photography skills. The programs will help you gain more insight as well as get a different perspective in order to help define the direction and path that would like to follow. I will be accepting a limited number of students each month in order to help them with many facets of their photography goals.

The programs will consist of different approaches as well as opportunities to help cater to the student’s needs. I have a vast range of professional experience shooting everything from Animals to Weddings. I’ve shot portraiture, newborn, maternity, weddings, and fine art. I have been in business full-time for 6 years and have an office/studio space to work with you where needed.

Here are some of the areas that we can discuss or cover during your session.

With 1-on-1 sessions tailored to your needs, I’ll ask you to think through what areas of your business or photography that you want to work on, and then we’ll examine and tackle them together. Topics like:

A portfolio critique: I will review your portfolio and website and recommend changes
The makings of a compelling image
Uncovering YOUR personal style
I will help you with Lightroom and Photoshop processing
How to execute your style to create image which people recognize as yours.
How to pre-visualize so you get the final output you desire
Discovering how backgrounds influence final images
Learn how aperture, shutter speed, lens choice, and distance to subject affect your images
How to tell a story with your images

Documentary photography and photojournalism
I will give you my thoughts on how you can effectively market your business

Our Full Time session will consist of a day of shooting with lunch included. You will have the opportunity to watch, engage and work hands-on during a planned session.

This full day of learning can consist of one of the following opportunities:

Our Half Day session will consist of a day of shooting with lunch included. You will have the opportunity to watch, engage and work hands-on during a planned session.

This HALF DAY (4 hours) of learning can consist of one of the following opportunities:

Portrait sessions
Studio Sessions
Natural Light Sessions
Dance Sessions
Learning and Post-processing in Lightroom or Photoshop CC
How to select and search for Venues and what to look for in your area

Distance Learning Program

If you are not local and are in need of learning more about photography, your photography business as well as building a stronger foundation for your craft, I have a Distance Learning program for you!! The program gives you the opportunity for a 3,6 or 9 month program. You will also work with a Foundational Coach, that will help you strengthen areas such as knowing who your client is to knowing more about web analytics to help you see who you attract.
